Dr. Carley Langston has been with Mannsdale Animal Clinic for 7 years. She serves as the managing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine as well as a partner in the practice. Dr. Langston attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. While at MSU, she was an active member of Phi Mu fraternity as well as the Dance Team for her entire undergraduate career. Carley graduated MSU CVM with a desire to practice small animal medicine. She enjoys all aspects of companion animal practice but her primary interests include ophthalmology and oncology.
Carley is married to Giles Langston, a local ER physician, and is the proud (and busy) mom of Blake, their 3 year old daughter. The Langstons have 2 doodles, Murphy and Duck. They reside in Jackson where they are active in their local community as well as their church, Christ United Jackson. Blake attends Jackson Academy and is a proud Raider!
Carley is actively involved in the Junior League of Jackson and serves on the community board for Extra Table, a local non profit alleviating food insecurity in the area. In her spare time, if not chasing around Blake, enjoys playing tennis at the Country Club of Jackson or with different USTA teams , reading with her book club, or training for a race. She completed two half ironman competitions in the last year! If you need a running or cycling buddy, she’s your girl!
Dr. Langston loves spending time with her patients and clients and cannot wait to see what the future of Mannsdale Animal clinic holds!
Dr. Laura Leigh Winford is a native of Mississippi and grew up in Madison. She graduated from Madison Ridgeland Academy and then attended the University of Mississippi. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Classics with an emphasis in Latin. The town of Oxford and Ole Miss are two of her favorite places!
After completing her undergraduate degree, she attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. Laura Leigh is passionate about feline and canine medicine including preventative care, behavior, and internal medicine.
In her spare time, Laura Leigh enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Belle, going on walks, and reading books. Her home town of Madison MS has always held a special place in her heart and she is thrilled to be home serving her community at the MAC!

Dr. McKinley is a Georgia native. He is a proud ‘Double-Dawg’ having completed both his undergraduate degree and is a doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Georgia in Athens. He has always known he wanted to be a veterinarian even at a young age and only pursued veterinary medicine throughout his entire scholastic career. In his younger years, Dr. McKinley had extensive experience with dairy cattle but had a stronger passion to work canines and felines in his professional career, so decided to focus on small animal companion medicine. Dr. McKinley has completed certifications and continuing education in veterinary dentistry and is ‘Fear Free’ certified. He also has a strong passion for surgery and internal medicine. When he is not working, Dr. McKinley enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and Labrador Retrievers at their farm enjoying the great outdoors. He also played collegiate rugby and is still involved in the sport.
Dr. Britt is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of Clinton High School. He has lived in the Madison/ Gluckstadt area for the past 10 years. He is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi State University, and Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he served a year in public practice with the USDA. He then spent a year at a mixed animal practice in Georgia before moving to Virginia Beach, VA. While in Virginia, Dr. Britt was a member of a three-hospital, small animal AAHA certified practice where he developed an interest in internal Medicine. In 2009, Dr. Britt and his wife returned to Mississippi to be closer to family.
Dr. Britt has a son that attends Madison-Ridgeland Academy. His wife teaches at Mannsdale Upper Elementary, and they have a black lab named Beaux. When Dr. Britt is not working, he enjoys spending time at the beach, watching Mississippi State sports, and being around family.

Dr. Angelena Heath-Stowers is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of Jackson Academy. She attended Ole Miss for 3 years before she transferred to graduate with a B.S. in Animal Sciences at Mississippi State University. Following undergrad, she went straight into vet school graduating MSU-CVM Class of 2013.
Dr. Heath has been in general practice for 7 years while also practicing emergency and critical care for the past 2 years. Her special interests include geriatric care, sports medicine, and ER. Dr. Heath is 1 of 3 in MS that is Penn Hip Certified to preform diagnosis and asses risk factors for hip dysplasia in dogs as early as 16 weeks old.
Dr. Heath’s two children attend MRA while her husband works at Baptist Hospital. When outside of work, Dr. Heath enjoys spending time with family and friends at the beach or anything outdoors.
